2018 ex deluxe fuel pump and display staying on

Getting an 18 ex deluxe ready for the summer and found this odd issue. Battery was out all winter on a charger, hooked it up and immediately the screen came on and I heard the fuel pump running. Check engine light flashed twice then went off. Didnt see a code. Fired it up and let it run and seemed to have no issue. Hit the stop button and the pump and screen just stayed on. What could have caused this? Never had this issue before and all I had done in the fall was remove battery and put on charger.

any input is greatly appreciated as I’m a little confused/stumped.
