Illegal Alien Child at U.S. Facility Diagnosed With H1N1 Virus

A Central American, illegal alien child being housed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas has been diagnosed with the H1N1 virus. The case was reported last Friday. The child, who was recently transferred from a border facility in Texas, was running a fever and exhibiting signs of the flu when he arrived. He has been hospitalized and continues to receive treatment.


The government sent 2000, H1N1 vaccines to inoculate the illegal alien children being cared for at Lackland AFB.



Taxpayers to be billed $6.3 billion.

It is estimated that 60,000 illegal alien children will enter the U.S. this year. Maintaining the welfare of the children is estimated to cost $250 a day per child. The $6.3 billion tab will be passed on to the U.S. taxpayer.


All public schools ordered to admit illegal alien children.

President Obama has ordered all public schools to admit illegal alien children into the school system. Every child entering the system is required by state law to be inoculated for childhood diseases. The approximate cost to inoculate each child is $1,050. Since this is not a federal requirement but a state requirement, it will be up to the residents of each state in which the child attends school to pick up the tab.


The total amount of inoculating the 60,000 illegal alien children entering the U.S. this year will be an additional $63 million.


The responsibility of Americans to their own children.

Due to state government requirements for childhood inoculations the parents of American born children are personally responsible for $620 of the $1,050 it costs to inoculate their own children that insurance companies refuse to pay.


Stand Down orders issued.

President Obama issued Stand Down orders to border patrol agents. His Open Door Policy is encouraging more illegal aliens to enter the U.S.


Border patrol agents are processing 1,000 illegal alien children through the system every day.


The State Department estimates 145,000 illegal alien children will cross the border next year.

GM Issues 3 More Recalls

NEW ONES AFFECT 474K VEHICLES

General Motors extended its record-breaking string of safety problems today with three more recalls, including a large one involving its top-selling vehicle. The recalls, part of a top-to-bottom safety review, bring the company's total for the year to 48, covering more than 20 million cars and trucks. That beats GM's old full-year record of 10.75 million in 2004. Today's recalls cover 474,000 vehicles worldwide for a variety of problems.


The largest affects almost 467,000 four-wheel-drive Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups, as well as GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban SUVs. The Sierra is GM's top-selling vehicle. The company said a software glitch can cause the transmission transfer cases to shift into neutral on their own on 2014 and 2015 models. That can cause loss of power, or it can let the trucks roll away if parked. GM says it knows of no crashes or injuries. The other recalls are much smaller and also had no reported injuries. (Meanwhile, GM sales are up.)

Obama to Boehner: Instead of Suing, Do Your Job

PRESIDENT DISMISSES LAWSUIT AS A 'STUNT'

Barack Obama isn't exactly quaking in his boots over John Boehner's lawsuit threat, at least not publicly. "The suit is a stunt," the president told George Stephanopoulos at ABC. "I'm not going to apologize for trying to do something while they're doing nothing. … What I’ve told Speaker Boehner directly is, ‘If you’re really concerned about me taking too many executive actions, why don’t you try getting something done through Congress?’"


Boehner's office fired back with a statement arguing that the "American people, their elected representatives, and the Supreme Court" have all complained about Obama's overreach, and that "dismissing them with words like ‘smidgen’ or ‘stunt’ only reinforces their frustration,"Politico reports. The ABC interview also touched on Obama's foreign policy, with Obama downplaying the threat posed by ISIS. "They're gaining strength in some places," he admitted. "But we've also got a lot better at protecting ourselves."
