If what you are saying about Obama is true, why isn't Romney attacking him about it at the debates? If what you say has any truth to it he should be able to bury Obama in the first 30 minutes of the debate and have the election wrapped up by the end of the week.

By the way airbornexp, I have less education then your friend that works(ed?) at CAT. Many people that are great entreprenuers are high school/college drop-outs. Education at times is just a sheepskin. But you would generally enjoy an advantage trying to find decent paying work if reason were to present itself as uposed to those of us that do not posess a degree.

I agree with you that education is not everything in the small business world sometimes but it is a limiting factor in the corporate world all the time. I am referring to my friends education in the corporate world, unions and his pay and how he is grossly over paid to do what he does. I am not arguing benefits as I believe that should be required of most companies. I am arguing about the unions thinking that he needs $70k to put lug nuts on the hub because he "deserves" it.

Compared to who, Lenin, Mao & Castro? I'd surely like to see you try & defend that position. If the right was solely made up of socially conservative Rick Santorum types, I'd tend to agree with that statement, but that's not the case. Matter of fact, many on the right are far more libertarian than conservative these days. I surely don't consider those who want a return to free market capitalism & constitutionally limited government to have an extreme agenda. As a self-described "moderate" & "fiscal conservative", how can you possibly defend the rapid expansion of the size & scope of government along with trillion plus dollar deficits as far as the eye can see as anything that resembles moderate or fiscally conservative policy? Obama meeting with a bunch of African American pastors in 2007 is very different from a KKK meeting. Besides, that issue was brought up prior to Obama even being elected and it didn't matter then and hasn't seemed to have any type of effect in the last 4 years because Obama isn't taking direction from those people. If you don't believe that ask any of those pastors who are protesting against him because of his stance on gay marriage. Even bringing that up stinks of desperation from the Republican party. They also showed up at the rallies the union I was in held when we were locked out of our jobs; oh and some of them marched beside us; so what. They have a right in my country to do what they do. I may not agree with them, and no, sorry, none of the ILWU membership either joined them or their party when they attended our rallies, but they have just as much right here in this country as you and your opinions do on this thread. I owned a small business myself for 15 years. It was difficult and being here in Ca. presented it's own set of challenges but every state does.

You obviously don't know much about black liberation theology. It's more ideology than religion, & it's deeply rooted in social justice(another word for socialism). Jeremiah Wright may be a pastor, but he preaches very radical & racist opinions, so comparing his church to a KKK meeting is completely justified. The fact that Obama sat in his church for 20 yrs speaks volumes about what his true beliefs are. Not to mention his relationships with other radicals like Frank Davis & terrorist Bill Ayers. Yes, but I also remember Obama telling us that Bush running up the deficit was unpatriotic......his own words on tape. Now he's doing it, but that's right, it's different. He had to so he could fix Bush's FU's, right? As of today, the deficit is $51, 500 for every man, woman, and child with their feet touching the US. I don't care who did what at this point.
