A 33-year-old man, later identified as Alvin Gary Shaw, was arrested after he beat at least two seniors including an 84-year-old woman at the Pro-Trump rally in Aliso Viejo.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly attacking a number of people at a Wednesday night rally held in support of President Donald Trump in Aliso Viejo.


“He took his hand way back like he was going to punch me, and [he] hit me right across the face,” 84-year-old Donna Snow said. “Broke my earrings off.”


According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, a retired police officer then got involved and pulled his gun as the man attempted to run from the scene.


Another person at the rally was knocked to the ground by the man while trying to help others, and a third victim was taken to a local hospital with a neck injury.


According to the sheriff’s office, Alvin Gary Shaw was taken into custody on suspicion of elder abuse, assault with a deadly weapon and assault and battery after allegedly attacking three people in attendance.

Twitter’s Public Policy Director Quits to Join Biden Team


Big Tech desperate to topple Trump



Twitter’s public policy director has left the massive social media platform for a job on the Joe Biden transition team, which will help the Democratic challenger ease into office in case he defeats Donald Trump in November.



While it’s unclear what role he will play on the team, Carlos Monje has helped to host fundraisers for the Biden campaign and has been hired to assist with his potential transition to the White House, Politico reported on Thursday, citing “a person familiar with the move.” Monje, who is also co-chair on Biden’s infrastructure policy committee, has yet to comment on the report.


Before landing the position at Twitter, Monje worked for a number of high-profile Democratic politicians, serving on Hillary Clinton’s transition team during her failed 2016 presidential bid and as deputy policy director for Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. He was hired as a special assistant to Obama after his 2008 victory, working on his Domestic Policy Council, and later in the Transportation Department.



Though Twitter insists it remains politically neutral in the way it manages its platform, the company has been accused of leaning toward the Democratic Party. Federal records cited by the New York Post revealed that the firm’s corporate PAC donations went almost solely to Democrats during the 2018 election cycle, while company executives have also given generously to the party as individuals.


Twitter Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, for example, donated the maximum amount allowed by law to the Obama and Clinton campaigns, and in 2016 gave $2,700 to Kamala Harris – who is now Joe Biden’s running mate – for her successful Senate bid. CEO and co-founder Jack Dorsey also reportedly donates exclusively to Democrats.


Critics of the social media monolith have accused the company of targeting conservative voices with bans and suspensions, while some have pointed to disclaimers repeatedly appended to President Trump’s tweets as evidence of bias. The notices have included “fact checks” and warnings about “manipulated media,” special measures the platform has not applied to any other presidential candidate.

Obama-Appointed Judge Blocks Postmaster General Louis DeJoy From Making Operation Changes to USPS Ahead of Election



Another day, another corrupt Obama judge.


Judge Stanley Bastian in Eastern Washington’s US District Court, an Obama appointee on Thursday issued a nationwide injunction blocking Postmaster General Louis DeJoy from making operational changes to the United States Postal Service ahead of the general election.


The post office is an establishment in the executive branch and controlled by presidential appointees, but this Obama judge believes he runs the post office and controls the executive branch.


The Democrat-media complex exploded last month and accused President Trump of “destroying” the US Postal Service after the President’s newly appointed Postmaster General made structural changes.



New changes made by Louis DeJoy have reportedly ‘slowed down’ the mail deliveries, prompting the left to accuse President Trump of corrupting the US Postal Service in order to deter people from using mail-in ballots for the November election.


A huge coalition of Democrat state attorneys general filed a lawsuit against the USPS last month asserting Trump and DeJoy were purposely disrupting mail delivery to sabotage the election.


And the Obama judge agreed.


“Although not necessarily apparent on the surface, at the heart of DeJoy’s and the Postal Service’s actions is voter disenfranchisement,” Bastian wrote. “This is evident in President Trump’s highly partisan words and tweets, the actual impact of the changes on primary elections that resulted in uncounted ballots, and recent attempts and lawsuits by the Republican National Committee and President Trump’s campaign to stop the States’ efforts to bypass the Postal Service by utilizing ballot drop boxes, as well as the timing of the changes.


“It is easy to conclude that the recent Postal Services’ changes is an intentional effort on the part of the current Administration to disrupt and challenge the legitimacy of upcoming local, state, and federal elections, especially given that 72% of the … high speed mail sorting machines that were decommissioned were located in counties where Hillary Clinton received the most votes in 2016,” Bastian added.


Judge Bastian also blasted Trump and DeJoy in an earlier court hearing and said the two “are involved in a politically motivated attack on the efficiency of the Postal Service.”


Bastian’s temporary injunction is now forcing the USPS to undo all the changes made in the last couple months.

Tucson Police start mask enforcement operation





Tucson Police said they saw a situation, and took action.


"We have seen an unptick from the UA area from reports from Pima County Health," TPD Lt. Tim Reese said.


EDUCATION OVER ENFORCEMENT


The action: enforce a mask ordinance around parts of the city, but they'll tell you, it's not meant to be a reason to hand citations.


"To really kind of help educate people and give them some tools and some information that they need to help be safe from everyone."


TPD said it's going to walk around town, hand out masks to people who don't have one and explain the rule.


"People are required to wear face-coverings if they are out in a public place and they're unable to easily maintain a distance of 6-feet from everyone else."


A PENALTY EXISTS


The goal, according to LT. Reese, is not to pile on fine after fine.


"Our ordinance does require them to be used so that's our goal is to really get these things used in our community."


Like any enforcement measure, it does have teeth.


"Although the ordinance does allow for citation to be issued, our first goal is to educate our community members as to what the ordinance entails."


The City Attorney's Office tells KGUN9, a person will have to practically ask to be fined for not having a mask and violating the ordinance.


The penalty: $50.


WEEK LONG ENFORCEMENT OPERATION


Police said they're going to focus enforcement on certain areas of town.


"The university area, where we saw the uptick, Fourth avenue, the downtown entertainment district. Things like that," Lt. Reese said.


He added that officers around the city can enforce the mask ordinance as well.


The department said they'll have 100,000 masks to hand out, over the week-long operation.


"At the end of a week we'll look back and see. We are gathering some statistics to include how many people we contact, how many masks we end up issuing out."

Michigan Judge Extends Deadline 2 Weeks for Mail-in Ballots Postmarked by November 2



Mail-in ballots postmarked by November 2 must be counted up to two weeks after the presidential election, a Michigan judge ruled this week.



Michigan Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Stephens essentially extended the deadline for mail-in ballots to be counted, even if they arrive after the polls close on Election Day, which stood as the previous deadline. Stephens attributed her ruling to the impact of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic:

ÔÇ£The unrefuted affidavits and documents compel the conclusion that, in light of delays attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic, mail delivery has become significantly compromised, and the risk for disenfranchisement when a voter returns an absent voter ballot by mail is very real,ÔÇØ Stephens stated in the lawsuit the Michigan Alliance for Retired Americans lodged.


The Detroit Free Press reported that Stephens also ruled that ÔÇ£voters casting an absentee ballot can get transportation help from anyone they want in returning their ballots to local clerks, from the Friday before Election Day to the close of polls.ÔÇØ


The ruling states:

As it concerns the voter assistance ban, MCL 168.932(f) is unconstitutional as applied to only a narrow timeframe: the time between 5:01 p.m. on the Friday before the election and Election Day, i.e., when the clerk or an assistant is not required to assist a voter who wishes to cast an absent voter ballot. During this timeframe, and only during this timeframe, a voter may select any third party of his or her choosing to render assistance in returning an absent voter ballot. Any penalties and prohibitions that would otherwise apply to the mere act of helping a voter return an absent voter ballot, 3 including those found in MCL 168.932 and MCL 168.935, will be enjoined from applying during this specified timeframe only.

ÔÇ£Normally, it is a misdemeanor to hire drivers to take voters to polling places unless they physically cannot walk,ÔÇØ the outlet reported:

Stephens said she heard evidence about one case in which a ballot mailed to the clerk's office in Wyandotte was routed out of state, to Illinois, before arriving late at its intended address.


That was just one of ÔÇ£the over 6.400 otherwise valid ballots that were rejected for having been received after the election day receipt deadline,ÔÇØ she said.

Similarly, on Thursday, a Pennsylvania judge ruled that ballots received three days after the election must be counted, regardless of evidence of a timely postmark.

Democrats scored two judicial victories in Pennsylvania on Thursday, when the court kicked the Green Party presidential candidate off the ballot, and ruled that mailed-in ballots could still be counted util 5:00 p.m. ET on the third day after Election Day, as long as they were postmarked by 8:00 p.m ET that day.


The court added: that ÔÇ£ballots received within this periodÔÇØ ÔÇö i.e. between November 3 and 6 ÔÇôÔÇ£that lack a postmark or other proof of mailing, or for which the postmark or other proof of mailing is illegible, will be presumed to have been mailed by Election Day unless a preponderance of the evidence demonstrates that it was mailed after Election Day.ÔÇØ


In a footnote, the court explains its reasoning, saying that disqualifying a ballot without a postmark would ÔÇ£disenfranchise a voter based upon the absence or illegibility of a USPS postmark that is beyond the control of the voter once she places her ballot in the USPS delivery system.ÔÇØ

Michigan and Pennsylvania are both crucial battleground states President Trump hopes to secure again this year after defeating Hillary Clinton in both states in 2016 by less than a single percentage point.

VA: Voters Form Massive Lines For In-Person, Early Voting After Trump Encourages Healthy Americans To Go To Polls, Dems Tell Them To Vote By Mail



The Democrats and their allies in the media have been attempting to frighten Americans for several months about voting in person over fears of contracting COVID. They’ve gone out of their way to push back on Trump’s claims about the potential for voter fraud, demanding that mail-in voting is a “safe and effective” option.



100 Percent Fed Up – President Trump has been very vocal about encouraging healthy voters to go to the polls, and not risk having their vote be lost or tampered with by people who may not want him to be re-elected.


Twitter, like Facebook, is doing their part to encourage voters to do the opposite of whatever Trump suggests. Every time President Trump tweets about skipping the mail-in voting and going to the polling places to vote in person, Twitter tags his posts with warnings, essentially arguing with the President, telling his followers that vote by mail is safe.

Trump also tweeted a message to VA voters, asking for their votes. He reminded them that their Democrat governor is coming after their guns and about Governor Northam’s unpopular support for late-term abortion and infanticide in his state.
