New York Times Believes that Rising Costs of Living are Driving Up Inflation- What?



The New York Times released the most nonsensical article on inflation in history. Its thesis is that the rising costs of living are causing inflation. huh?



The New York Times released an article on inflation that makes no sense. Here is how it begins [emphasis added]:


Political and economic crises typically have multiple causes. But many right now are driven by one main factor: the rising cost of living.



In Britain, Prime Minister Liz Truss is facing calls to resign after just six weeks in office over a now-abandoned tax cut plan that experts warned would worsen inflation, if not wreak economic havoc. Europe is bracing for skyrocketing energy costs this winter. In the U.S., the Federal Reserve is considering more aggressive steps to bring down price increases, but its moves could also cause a recession, as The Times reported yesterday.

Officials generally aim to keep the rate of inflation around 2 percent ÔÇö enough to keep the economy growing yet preserve stability in prices. Man Attacked by Assailant Wielding Samurai Sword in a Ninja Suit at Manhattan Subway Station



Meanwhile in the Democrat hellhole of New York City-


A suspect wielding a Samurai sword attacked a man inside a subway station in Lower Manhattan Thursday morning.


The victim had a gash on his forehead and his wound is not considered life-threatening.


The assailant is still at large.


The Daily Mail reported:

A samurai sword-wielding assailant wearing a ninja suit is on the loose after attacking a man with the weapon inside a New York City subway station Thursday morning.


Police responded to the Chambers Street station in Lower Manhattan around 9:30 a.m. after receiving a 911 report of a man with a knife on a northbound A train.


They located a victim who had a cut to his forehead. He told officers that the suspect struck him with the handle of the sword. His wounds are not considered to be life-threatening, police said.


Additional police officers have been called to assist after the suspect was seen fleeing the subway station.


Police say the suspect is wearing a ninja suit with a rainbow-colored pattern on the sleeves, a black baseball hat with a Marvel logo on the front. The samurai sword has a pearl handle, police said.

This is the latest attack on a subway platform in New York City.


Earlier this month a gang of females clad in head-tote neon-green leotards stormed a NYC subway and robbed several teenagers.


A 21-year-old woman visiting New York City from St. Louis, Missouri was raped on a subway platform last month.


A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a New York City subway platform over the summer.

Australian Bank Begins Linking Customer Transactions to Carbon Footprint



Green social credit score scheme accelerates.


In another foretaste of potential future ‘carbon allowance’ limits, a major bank in Australia has introduced a new feature that links purchases to a customer’s carbon footprint and warns them when they are going over the average.



Australia’s Commonwealth Bank (CBA) has partnered with Cogo, a “carbon management solutions” company, to launch the new feature, which is part of CBA’s online banking platform.



The bank gives the customer the option to “pay a fee” to offset their carbon footprint, with the average listed as 1,280 kilograms, a long way from the ‘sustainable’ figure of 200 kilograms.




A person’s carbon footprint is calculated and then an ‘equivalent’ metric is show to make the customer feel guilty about it, such as “8 trees being cut”.


“By combining our rich customer data and CoGo’s industry-leading capability in measuring carbon outputs, we will be able to provide greater transparency for customers so that they can take actionable steps to reduce their environmental footprint,” CommBank Group executive Angus Sullivan said in a statement.


The bank has promised to refine the calculation down to showing how much CO2 individual purchases are responsible for.

Maryland's new Emmett Till Alert System released a ÔÇ£severeÔÇØ warning Sunday night that involves threats of possible violence against Black child care centers.



Providing more information at a news conference Monday afternoon, African American leaders sounded an alarm intended to heighten awareness and increase vigilance in Maryland and across the country.


Maryland's Emmett Till Alert System went live in August and was activated for the first time at 6 p.m. Sunday.



ÔÇ£Sounding the alarm against domestic threats is very important to me,ÔÇØ said Antonio Palmer, owner of Kingdom Kare.


The Caucus of African American Leaders puts out the alerts, which are similar to Amber Alerts, but are focused on hate crimes and other incidents targeting minorities.




ÔÇ£When we receive potential threats against our community, our churches, our child care centers, we must take it seriously,ÔÇØ Palmer said.


This first alert was the highest possible warning that Black day care centers are being targeted for possible acts of violence by hate groups online. Leaders said the threat was identified and vetted by the system's own panel of intelligence experts.



ÔÇ£The reason this one came out - 'severe' ÔÇö the highest we can ÔÇö (is) because it involves, potentially, people's lives, and so we wanted to make sure that people take it seriously,ÔÇØ said Carl Snowden, with the Caucus of African American Leaders. BREAKING: Corrupt Jan 6 Committee Subpoenas President Trump



The group of corrupt actors on the Jan 6 Committee just released their letter subpoenaing President Trump.

This was reported moments ago.


The letter notes that the corrupt committee “interviewed more than a thousand witnesses”. But the committee never interviewed the people on the ground on election day. They never reviewed the hundreds of affidavits after the 2020 Election indicating fraud at multiple locations across the country.


The Jan 6 committee never asked experts on the stolen 2020 Election what evidence they have to support this.


The Jan 6 committee also never spoke with the mothers of the individuals who died and/or were murdered on Jan 6. They made multiple accusations that police were murdered that day but they were not, only Trump supporters.


The Jan 6 gang, led by outgoing Liz Cheney who lost her race in Wyoming in a record-setting landslide want to bring in President Trump to testify but they ignore the actions of corrupt Speaker Pelosi who prevented the military from being there.


This committee isn’t fair-minded and objective which is what is required in our Constitution. If it was it would have allowed rebuttals and questioning from President Trump’s attorneys.


It will be great fun to watch President Trump destroy these corrupt actors who are as biased and corrupt as the Mueller gang.

One Twitter user sadly pointed out the new rule will mean “Only gangsters and criminals can now buy, sell and smuggle handguns into Canada,” since they don’t follow orders like law-abiding gun owners.

In fact, Canada already had extremely strict handgun laws such as registration tied to the owner’s address, mandates on safely storing and locking handguns, and only allowing citizens to practice shooting at RCMP-approved gun ranges.


History clearly shows disarmed populations nearly always soon fall victim to government abuses, and with a global recession, energy crisis and potential World War on the horizon, the Canadian people have no way of defending themselves from criminals or the state.
