Canada: Catholic student who was suspended for 'opposing gender ideology' is now arrested by police



In a sickening update that should shake the conscience of every defender of human rights and Constitutional rights in Canada, Ontario police arrest Josh Alexander, who protested boys in girls' bathrooms, for attending class.



I have been following this story from the beginning. See HERE and HERE for background. To sum it up: 16-year-old Ontario resident Josh Alexander was penalized with a 20-day suspension last year by his Catholic school ÔÇ£after he organized a walkout in protest of male students being permitted into the girls' washroom.ÔÇØ In an interview around the time of Alexander's initial suspension, the teen told LifeSiteNews that he believes, in accordance with Catholic teaching and the Bible, that there are only two sexes. Under the freedom of religion, Alexander has the guaranteed right to affirm this. Or so we thought.



Liberty Coalition Canada (LCC) took up Josh's case and sent a ÔÇ£Notice of Intention to Appeal SuspensionÔÇØ to Mary-Lise Rowat, Superintendent of Educational Services at Renfrew County Catholic District School Board. But Josh's situation deteriorated, and fast. LifeSite news wrote in an update February 1:

Alexander's lawyer, James Kitchen, the chief litigator for Liberty Coalition Canada (LCC), told LifeSiteNews today that Renfrew County Catholic District School Board won't ÔÇ£permit him (Alexander) to attend school for the rest of the year because, according to them, Josh's beliefs constitute 'bullying of trans students.'ÔÇØ

What nonsense. Mind you, the school is bullying Josh over his religious rights and freedoms, while doing severe damage to what the school proclaims about honoring Catholic teachings.


I previously wrote to the Diocese of Pembroke, of which Josh's school, St. Joseph's Catholic High School, and the Renfrew County Catholic District are a part. See the full correspondence HERE. Below is an excerpt from that correspondence, where you'll notice immediately how institutions are able to hide (unintentionally or not) behind red tape, even when in violation of their own stated values.

I am not party to Bishop Desrochers' conversations with the Board's leadership, but it can safely be said that the Bishop can be trusted to uphold Catholic teaching in a manner that is both clear and sensitive to others, especially the vulnerable.

From all appearances, the influence of Bishop Desrochers is questionable in a hierarchy that also appears to be corrupted at the highest levels and will only change with public opposition. Without any pushback, Canadians will lose more of their rights. So far, the Catholic faith, to all appearances, is of no importance at Josh's school or within the diocese. Ethically, therefore, why is it even being funded by taxpayers as a Separate School system, categorized as religious? The news broke this month that the Ontario government faces a legal challenge for funding Catholic schools; St. Joseph's Catholic High School and the Renfrew District School Board makes the challenge easy.


Far too many people's rights are being trampled unconstitutionally in the rush to adhere to the woke ideology. In Josh's case, he is a whipping boy for the intolerant in a country that boasts of its ÔÇ£toleranceÔÇØ and ÔÇ£diversity.ÔÇØ His persecution is in a Catholic school which is apparently operating without any concern for the Catholic faith that the school professes to uphold.

Biden's State of the Union Vows 2 More Years of Misery


If you liked 2021 and 2022, worse is coming.




While millions of Americans, for the first time since the Great Depression, cannot afford to buy eggs, Biden boasted about his economic successes to applause from special interests and jeers from those representatives standing up for the beleaguered people of the nation.



The Great Depression ended three years before Biden's birth, but he's trying to bring it back.


Under Biden, the price of everything from bread to gasoline to eggs to homes has soared out of reach. No wonder that polls show even the majority of Democrats don't want him to run again.


Over 150 million Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, even those with a decent salary, because inflation is outrunning wage growth, making paychecks and savings worthless.


62% of Americans don't think Biden has done very much as president. Only 18% think that his policies have made life better for their families. In response to numbers like that, Joe Biden spent the State of the Union screaming, whispering and mumbling a stream of lies.


Once again, Biden falsely claimed to have created record jobs and record unemployment rates by virtue of not imposing more lockdowns, when there are actually millions fewer workers in the workforce in his miserable economy. He claimed to have brought gas prices down, when they're actually higher than they were when he took office. From there he blamed forest fires on global warming, lied about the tax system, insulin costs, the deficit, the debt limit and everything else.


But in the most shameless moment of the State of the Union, Biden falsely accused Republicans of wanting to eliminate Social Security and Medicare when he was the one who had spent much of his career working to cut Medicare and Social Security. It was Obama who had pledged to spend ÔÇ£some political capitalÔÇØ to make the ÔÇ£very difficult choices and issues of sacrifice and responsibility and dutyÔÇØ.and tasked Biden with helping make those cuts.


In 2007, Biden told Meet the Press that ÔÇ£Medicare, that is the gorilla in the room, and you've got to put all of it on the table.ÔÇØ ÔÇ£We need to do something about Social Security and Medicare. That's the only way you can find room to pay for it,ÔÇØ Biden had said as recently as 2018.
Not only did Biden lie, but he accused House Republicans of his own sins.


Trump has said that, ÔÇ£Biden tried to cut Social Security and MedicareÔÇØ. Bernie Sanders accused Biden of saying ÔÇ£on many occasions we should cut Social Security.ÔÇØ All of that is forgotten.

Seafood processing plant destroyed by violent blaze



It seems like sabotaging the food chain has become a priority… A food processing plant in the Canadian province of New Brunswick went up in flames Friday.

The building produces fertilizer and animal feed…


Jim LeBlanc, owner of W.E. Acres Crabmeal Ltd., said the structure was a “total loss,” according to the Canadian Television Network.


The fire erupted at about 2 p.m.


LeBlanc told CTV News the fire was started by an explosion in an oil drum. However, Ronald Cormier, fire chief of the village of Cap-Pel?®, said the cause of the fire is still unknown, but that it did not appear to have been arson, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corp.



Although Cormier was quoted as saying no one was in the building when the fire started and no one was injured, LeBlanc said four people were inside and that he and one worker suffered minor injuries.


“Myself and one of my co-workers were injured, like burnt… first and second-degree burns. We’ll heal,” he told CTV. LeBlanc told CTV his co-worker who was injured went to the hospital for treatment of second-degree burns.


The building produces fertilizer and animal feed, LeBlanc said. Cormier told the CBC six fire departments spent more than four hours fighting the blaze.


According to the CBC, the fire was the fourth fish plant fire in the region including two fires that took place in 2021 and one from 2019.



After the second of the 2021 fires, which took place on two successive weekends, Louise Landry, mayor of the village of Beaubassin-est, said the incidents were unusual, according to CBC.

Buffalo Bills Co-Owner Kim Pegula Suffers “Expressive Aphasia and Significant Memory Issues” Following Cardiac Arrest, Daughter Reveals



On Tuesday, the fourth-ranked female tennis player in the world, Jessica Pegula, revealed that her mother, Kim Pegula, co-owner and president of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, suffered brain damage and still has problems communicating following a cardiac arrest last year.


Kim Pegula (53), along with her husband, Terry Pegula, is one of the primary owners of the NFL’s Buffalo Bills (NFL). She also oversees the Buffalo Bandits and Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League, as well as the Rochester Americans and Buffalo Sabres of the American Hockey League, as president of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, the holding company that owns all of these teams.


In June, Kim suffered a cardiac arrest while sleeping and had to be revived by her other daughter before paramedics came. Jessica thought her sister Kelly was the hero for doing CPR on their mom.


“My mom was asleep when my dad woke up to her going into cardiac arrest and she was unresponsive for quite a while. My sister gave her CPR until the ambulance arrived. She saved her life. Even though she doesn’t like to take credit for this terrible situation, she absolutely saved her life, followed by the critical job performed by the paramedics who arrived and were able to restore a heartbeat,” Jessica narrated.


“So here we are in the hospital. They figured out what was wrong, they fixed it, but the big question was how she would be when she woke up. Our concern had now moved from the cardiac arrest to a brain injury. Not to mention all the other issues that come with both of those events. Breathing, swallowing, preventing infections, there are so many things that can go wrong. The most frustrating thing about these types of injuries is that the outcome is unknown,” she continued.

Jessica said her mother is “dealing with significant expressive aphasia and significant memory issues” following cardiac arrest.

Lights Turn Off During House Oversight Committee Hearing on Twitter-Hunter Biden Laptop



On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee conducted a full committee hearing to discuss the Hunter Biden laptop report and the involvement of the government the suppress this information and others from the public.

This outage occurred during what was arguably the most explosive public hearing about the expose of the Deep State.


The hearing is now in recess following the incident.
