Iran Named Vice President of UN General Assembly After Securing Another Position to Promote Human Rights

In a move that has left the international community abuzz, Iran, a country scrutinized for its stringent restrictions on civil liberties, has secured two critical positions within the United Nations.

After assuming leadership in a U.N. forum on the promotion of human rights through technology, Iran has now been elected as Vice President of the General Assembly, solidifying its expanding influence within this key international body, JNS reported.

Advocates of human rights are voicing concerns due to Iran’s track record of strict penalties for dissenting voices, which are based on its interpretation of Sharia law, an Islamic legal system. This contrasts with the forum’s stated mission of enhancing human rights through technology.

Iran is one of the countries with the highest rates of executions in the world, according to several human rights organizations. Crimes punishable by death include murder, rape, drug trafficking, and, in some instances, economic crimes. Iran has also faced criticism for imposing the death penalty in cases of “blasphemy”, apostasy (renouncing Islam), and homosexuality, and for executing juvenile offenders. Some of the punishments include public executions, flogging, amputation, and stoning.

Despite these controversies, Iran’s secured another position as the vice president of the General Assembly, which underscores its growing influence on the international stage.

Jack Smith Makes Statement on Trump Indictment; Praises FBI and Says, “We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone”

Special Counsel Jack Smith praised the FBI and his team of anonymous prosecutors in a statement on the indictment of President Trump Friday at the Justice Department in Washington, D.C.

Trump blasted Smith on Truth Social minutes before Smith spoke, “This is the man who caused the Lois Lerner catastrophe with the IRS. He went after Evangelicals and Great Americans of Faith. The United States had to apologize, and pay major damages for what this deranged lunatic did. He had a unanimous loss in the Supreme Court. His wife is a Trump Hater, just as he is a Trump Hater—a deranged “psycho” that shouldn’t be involved in any case having to do with “Justice,” other than to look at Biden as a criminal, which he is!”

As Americans watch the politicized double standard of justice in the steamrolling of Trump and the stonewalling of the Biden investigations, Smith boasted, “We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone,” and praised the FBI which has spent the past seven years going after Trump and protecting the Biden and Clinton crime families, saying, “I’m deeply proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them.”

Smith also praised the Justice Department prosecutors on his team, even as they face corruption allegations and Smith is fighting Judicial Watch to keep their names and records secret from public scrutiny.

A lawyer for Trump’s co-defendant Waltine Nauta has formally accused one of Smith’s prosecutors of improperly bringing up his pending application for a federal judgeship while trying to get him to flip his client against Trump.

Good afternoon. Today an indictment was unsealed charging Donald J Trump with felony violations of our national security laws, as well as participating in a conspiracy to obstruct Justice.

This indictment was voted by a grand jury of citizens in the Southern District of Florida and I invite everyone to read it in full to understand the scope and the gravity of the crimes charged.

The men and women of the United States intelligence community and our Armed Forces dedicate their lives to protecting our nation and its people. Out=r laws that protect National Defense information are critical to the safety and security of the United States and they must be enforced. Violations of those laws put our country at risk.

Adherence to the rule of law is a bedrock principle of the Department of Justice and our nation’s commitment to the rule of law sets an example for the world. We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone. Applying those laws, collecting facts, that’s what determines the outcome of an investigation. Nothing more and nothing less.

The prosecutors in my office are among the most talented and experienced in the Department of Justice. They have investigated this case hewing to the highest ethical standards and they will continue to do so as this case proceeds.

It’s very important for me to note that the defendants in this case must be presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. To that end my office will seek a speedy trial in this matter consistent with the public interest and the rights of the
    accused.

We very much look forward to presenting our case to a jury of citizens in the Southern District of Florida.

In conclusion I would like to thank the dedicated public servants of the Federal Bureau of Investigation with whom my office is conducting this investigation and who worked tirelessly every day upholding the rule of law in our country. I’m deeply proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with them.

    Thank you very much.

Woke Marvel Eliminates The Punisher Due To "Problematic" Conservative Fan Base

A year ago progressive news outlets were calling the idea of the culture war a “right-wing conspiracy theory” that had no basis in reality. Yet, the injection of far-left politics into entertainment media had already started years previous, with noticeable propaganda efforts in movies, streaming television, children's shows and books, even commercial advertising was replete with progressive ideological imagery by 2016 onward.

The goal is relatively obvious – To erase competing ideals and viewpoints while saturating the market with only one political vision; a woke vision. It's called social engineering, and anyone who claims this is not happening in the US today is gaslighting.

Strangely, the American comic book industry has become a major battleground in the culture war, with heroic symbols being increasingly erased or hijacked as vehicles for woke talking points. A vast array of comic book characters are now race-swapped, converted to LGBT or they have had their histories rewritten to make them more “acceptable for modern audiences.” At the same time, they promote everything from BLM, to climate change propaganda, to gender identity politics and anti-gun messaging.

Why would leftists target something as frivolous as comic book heroes? Because pop-culture is first and foremost a playground where children grow up, and by rewriting heroes as social justice crusaders and communists they hope to indoctrinate the next generation.

However, one hero figure in particular is seen as so egregious and so triggering that leftists want him memory-holed altogether – The Punisher.

[New York Times] – […] While the nature of a few of the documents found in Mr. Trump’s possession is known — he had held onto letters from the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, for example — it remains unclear what other classified materials were found at Mar-a-Lago and what national security damage his possession of them caused, if any. Watch to see the silence of the Republican ’24 candidates.

The case against President Donald Trump might look bad on paper, because that is what the case against Donald Trump was designed to do. However, ultimately this case is on a trajectory to go up to a much higher court in discovery and pre-trial argument, because eventually these definitions are going to become an issue for the prosecution.

♦ THE TELL – Here’s the “tell” that every pundit, analyst and litigation expert will pretend they don’t notice. It’s the funniest part of the entire thing and yet no one, again except us, is noticing it. The DOJ has already predicated the baseline of their claim by saying they cannot tell anyone, even the court, what the nature of the documents are that underpin their assertion. Remember, they wouldn’t even let a court appointed “special master” review the documents.

Stop and think about that for a moment. NO ONE knows what the documents are, and the DOJ has stated they will never say what the documents are. The DOJ is filing a case about the mishandling of documents, in whatever legal construct they put forth, while simultaneously saying they are under no obligation to tell anyone what the documents are.

DOJ: Trump violated USC 793 in his discussion and/or handling of documents.

    Trump Lawyers: What documents?

DOJ: We can’t say, and we won’t tell you.

MTG Discloses What's in the Biden 'Bribery' Form—And It's Big

As I reported on Wednesday night, the FBI caved and, at least temporarily, avoided a contempt charge for Director Christopher Wray by allowing all the members of the House Oversight Committee to view the FD-1023 “Biden bribery form.” The FBI also turned over a couple of other documents to further comply with the subpoena from the Committee.

Now, after having seen the document, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is sharing the unclassified details of what she said was referenced in the form. What she revealed is big, if true. She said there were financial records that showed two payments of $5 million — one to Hunter Biden and the other “specifically” to Joe Biden, to “fix” a situation.

.@RepMTG viewed the FBI's document alleging then-VP Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme.

Now she's telling the American people what she read. pic.twitter.com/IH8igUY8YR

    — Townhall.com (@townhallcom) June 8, 2023

“Back in 2015-2016, Burisma was looking to buy a U.S.-based oil and gas company,” Greene said. “This came from being advised by Hunter Biden and his partners.”

Around the time then-Vice President Biden called Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin corrupt, Burisma “hired Hunter on the board ‘to make the problems go away,’ that’s what they specifically said,” Greene explained.

“Hunter advised that they could raise more money if [Burisma] bought a U.S. company, so the informant was trying to do the right thing and trying to advise Burisma that they shouldn’t go this route, they should hire an attorney, work out their problems that they were being investigated for — because they were having other legal problems, and that’s why they were being investigated by this prosecutor, Shokin,” MTG continued.

MTG made clear, as I reported earlier, this has nothing to do with Rudy Giuliani or anything he’s claimed, that this came from an “extremely credible” paid informant whom the FBI had relied on in the past, who spoke directly with the person involved. Democrats had been trying to deflect, saying this was “Giuliani” stuff, to try to discredit it.

Greene said that the owner of Burisma said “Hunter was stupid, and that his other business partner was smart.”

“He also said that he paid $5 million to one Biden and he paid $5 million to another Biden. And it was all a bribery to get Shokin fired and end the investigation into Burisma,” MTG said. He told the informant this was common practice in Ukraine and Russia, that they even account for it in the budget. He told the informant that he had two pieces of evidence “showing proof of payment to Hunter and specifically Joe Biden.”

Greene said that’s how they make sure “you get people to follow through” on the bribes you pay them.

“What I read today is, again, shocking,” Greene said, and she said that the Oversight Committee would keep looking into it.

“What I’m upset about, though, is the FBI doesn’t think the American people are worthy of this unclassified information. I certainly do,” MTG said. “I think the American people deserve to see it and know every single bit of it.”

As I reported earlier, Joe Biden is already melting down and scrambling to deflect, as reporters are now starting to ask real questions about the bribery form.

If this is true and they can prove it, this is indeed a smoking gun that could take Joe Biden down.

Joe Biden allegedly paid $5M by Burisma executive as part of a bribery scheme, according to FBI document

Biden's son Hunter was a board member of Burisma and also allegedly in on the scheme

President Joe Biden was allegedly paid $5 million by an executive of the Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings, where his son Hunter Biden sat on the board, a confidential human source told the FBI during a June 2020 interview, sources familiar told Fox News Digital.

The sources briefed Fox News Digital on the contents of the FBI-generated FD-1023 form alleging a criminal bribery scheme between then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national that involved influence over U.S. policy decisions.

The FD-1023 form, dated June 30, 2020, is the FBI's interview with a "highly credible" confidential source who detailed multiple meetings and conversations he or she had with a top Burisma executive over the course of several years, starting in 2015. Fox News Digital has not seen the form, but it was described by several sources who are aware of its contents.

An FD-1023 form is used by FBI agents to record unverified reporting from confidential human sources. The form is used to document information as told to an FBI agent, but recording that information does not validate or weigh it against other information known by the FBI.

The Burisma executive sought the advice of the confidential source, a business professional, on gaining U.S. oil rights and getting involved with a U.S. oil company, the sources familiar with the document said. The Burisma executive was speaking with the confidential source to "get advice on the best way to go forward" in 2015 and 2016.

According to the FD-1023 form, the confidential human source said the Burisma executive discussed Hunter’s role on the board. The confidential human source questioned why the Burisma executive needed his or her advice in acquiring access to U.S. oil if he had Hunter Biden on the board. The Burisma executive answered by referring to Hunter Biden as "dumb."

The Burisma executive explained to the confidential source that Burisma had to "pay the Bidens" because Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was investigating Burisma, and explained how difficult it would be to enter the U.S. market in the midst of that investigation.
