    1. ) So what is this for an switch in manys trucks ?
    2. ) How many miles can an diesel and a gas truck V8 Engine do..if all the service will do as in the spes writen ? is 150.000 miles ok to buy one and to ride 2 years or is it to much ?

    • trailer brake controller for larger trailers that have electronic brakes (i.e. hydraulic brakes that are electric assist)

    • all depends on the maintenance that was done before you buy it. the vehicle is only as good as its last owner took care of it. it may be a great deal but it may cost you more in the long run to fix things if maintenance wasn't done at the proper intervals.

      oh yea that is true but is all mainrenance word as schedule done than 150.000 miles - 200.000 miles is are nor problem you mean ?

        all depends on the motor if its been beaten on or abused, regular maintenance doesn't mean shit

          I have a friend with with a 2014 RAM EcoDiesel (3.0L V6) with over 270,000 miles on it with NO problems. He delivers campers for a living so nearly half of his miles are pulling a trailer of some sort.

          EDIT: He is now over 341,000 miles. But he did have a problem. He had a lubricant leak from the turbo. He knew about it but didn't do anything about it. So the truck had a small fire. Just enough to require a new wiring harness to go along with the new turbo. There wasn't even any paint damage.

              Age is more detrimental then miles, at least here in Canada where they over salt the roads. They usually rot out before the motors and trannys give up.
