I cannot send private messages??

I get this pop-up when I try to send a private message now. Also there is no "Reply" button for me anymore. I was wanting to reply to Jerry to give him an update about an issue I was having with my ski, but site wont let me. Here is what it says.

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

I tried logging out and back in but no change. Anyone else have this issue?

You don’t have enough posts to be able to send messages. It’s to keep away spam and scammers
