It's not like that. There is nobody that I know of that does this commercially. It's all a matter of linking up with other folks that are like-minded. It helps if one of the people has a take charge attitude to do things like set up lodging in The Bahamas. It also helps for somebody to be the "leader" for the trip across the water.

What we normally do is either caravan to the Miami area or just straggle there individually. Spend the night in Miami then get up early in the morning to get to the marina. The most popular are Haulover and Crandon Park. The groups that I've been with have used Crandon Park Marina. There is a machine on the premises to swipe your credit card to pay for parking for however many days you're going to leave your land vehicle there.

And I'm saying get up early because we've been there at 10:00 am or so and there are lines and lines of vehicles waiting to get into the marina. I'm talking tailgating and partying in the median. They get super busy, so it's best to get there early.

Probably the most popular place to stay is a condo community called Bimini Sands. You can find vacancies on VRBO. There are docks, but you have to pay separately for them. There are also houses on the water and hotels all with docks/water access.

I suspect that the limiting factor for finding a company is liability. Shucks, I'm sure if your people check their insurance it probably says that they're covered within 60 miles or so from shore--with the exception of The Bahamas. If you're looking for a tour company that provides the personal watercraft, you're gonna be SOL. But you might be able to find a rental from an individual on Craig's List or something.

The only ones I know of doing guided tours are the folks from Dangerous Waters and they only do the PNW/Alaska. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
