Looks like a combination of issues:

1. Tons of seaweed that clogged up the pumps, resulting in no propulsion.
2. Rough seas and fast current causing skis to capsize.

friends, I need some advice.
At what age can a child be put on skis. Thanks for the answers. I ask because children and pregnant women in general are better off staying away from this sport. By the way, I always wondered is sunscreen safe during pregnancy? Because when you're skiing, you're constantly exposed to the sun, and you want to protect your skin in the best way possible.

I've never heard of a minimum age for passengers, but all riders must wear a life jacket.

If they want to be the driver, there are minimum ages and requirements per state.

Depends in part on the boating rules in your area.

Some places the rules require all PWC passengers;
To be seated behind the operator
Legs long enough for both passenger feet to reach fully to the footwell, feet flat on both mats
Wear a properly sized PFD
Be strong enough to hold themselves in place on the seat

Even in areas where these restrictions are not enforced or not present, the adult operator should consider the potential downsides of carrying a small(ish) passenger.

I have seen small children positioned in front of the driver. Sometimes a sudden wave impact (or even just rapid throttle release) will cause the small person to be thrown forward, with head and upper body impact onto the handlebar or steering hardware. Bloody nose and cut lips can happen, sometimes worse.

I have also seen smaller passengers seated behind the driver slip into the footwell on one side. Cornering jolt, wave jostle, whatever, the kid ends up in an awkward position and cannot easily regain the seat while the PWC is in motion.

95 % of all riders i see dont have full control over the ski??s. i dont know why is everybody which buy the first ski is getting an GP1800 oder an RXP300. i started 12 years ago with an GP1200R 2 Stroke for the first Season.

Could be that those were the only skis available. Most low-mid range "family" skis were unavailable in the last year or so.
