  • Super Secret First Trip of the Year

Aight, den. Now that I've been brow-beaten into accepting the terms of the trip let's get the discussion started!

Our group will actually be split into 2 groups. First group leaving in the wee hours of the morning Saturday May 6th. Second group will follow on Sunday. We will then commence our week of jubilation in Bimini.

Everybody except Cliff is welcome to come in and discuss.

"Attempted to sell" my skis. Nobody's biting since the one has has "that problem." At least nobody that's for real. Had a couple of texts from scammers, couple of calls from brokers, one "bite" on FaceBook who bowed out when it came to finalizing the price, one Green Hulkster who wanted the problem ski, but then he decided that might not be his optimum choice. So I guess I'm stuck with them. That's not a bad thing, though!

I though so at first, but Stacey is now trying to make her arrangements to go. Neither of us have passports yet. We applied Friday. I paid extra to expedite mine. she didn't expedite hers because she didn't think she even had a chance due to work. She only applied for hers because of the talk of needing them just to get on an airplane.
as we were shopping for goodies Saturday it started getting to her and the push began.

Once upon a time when I got my passport, I did NOT expedite and had it in about a week. Hopefully your experience will be just as quick!

Decided? With all that pressure from you guys and all but one or two of the folks who read my FaceBook post asking if I should go even though I can't afford it, I had no other choice. And there were a few on FaceBook who surprised me by supporting this venture. Of course, there were two who threw logic in my face. But they were greatly outnumbered!

On top of that, the generosity of you and Axel (and possibly others) was just tooooooooooooo much. I had to succumb.
