  • Key West ski rentals for a long time Greenhulk member

Good morning peeps. I'm planning a trip to Key West around the 3rd week of June this summer. I am looking to rent two skis and need advice on where to rent them from. I don't want a ÔÇ£tourÔÇØ or a small roped off area; I want to be able to go explore on my own. A private party set up would be ideal. A small group ride would be cool too. I'm not a ÔÇ£newbieÔÇØ to skiing so the skis will be well taken care of.
Any help would be appreciated. Pm me if you want to discuss in detail.
I may not be the fastest, but I'm NOT the slowest.

Give Nicole at Fl keys jet ski rentals. 305 396 7255

Edit: i did see that you said you are staying in key west. As a rule, she doesn't rent to people staying on kw for a few safety and a few legal reasons too. But give her a call and you might find that coming up for a half day trip or something else offered might be plenty suitable for you. Trust me, key west riding isnt really fun with the restrictions on where you can and cant go, thats why we opened that spot just a few islands up and got away from the mess that is key west.

Thanks a bunch. I’ll give her a call. I don’t have any issues driving out to another key to go ride. I’m just not interested in restricted riding. Lol

I wanted to thank kwtony, K447, & of course Nicole @ Florida Jetski Rentals.
We met her at her place and took off on 2 skis. She gave us an area map @ told us the spots to go to and avoid. It was awesome renting from a ski nut like the rest of us instead of the usual outfits. By far the best rental experience I've had!
We hit a few islands and some great snorkeling areas about 5 miles off shore. Great riding and beautiful water! I will surely be back.

Come on down. We have been riding just about every weekend. The Neches past the salt water barrier has been legally opened back up.
                  You still got skis?

5 hours. $330 with tax for each 3 seater. They weren’t even close to performance skis but you can’t go very fast on the ocean with 2 people & a shit ton of gear.

Nicole is cool as they come and one of us. If she feels that you know what your doing, she’ll treat you like a king. She lent us soft side coolers, dry sacks, let us use a cold water outdoor shower with coconut sugar scrub, and gave us cold beer. We chilled and talked skis for 30 minutes afterwards.

Dude! You just gave me wood! Lol. I’m going to have to go now. It’s been since 01 or 02 since I’ve ridden to the sand bar. I’ve been dying to ride the “ditch” back to the pond.

i still have the first 08 RXPX that I bought. Just hit 201 hours on it. I don’t ride nearly enough. I bought a Honda XR650L & a 1995 Vette that keep me busy. I’ve been traveling a good bit with the G/F too.

I still love to ski, get excited as hell when I’m on good water and the fuel gauge hits the buzzer but I’m more “well rounded” now. Lmao.

I am planning a vacation in Key West at the end of this month and thought I might bring my Jet Ski with me. Which key did you launch from. Is Key West at all a good place to launch from?
