Just a 155 gti sea doo, but only $200. Can't complain..
Last time I rode a rental Seadoo GTI (I think that was the model, in 2014, Tampa Bay area) the hull handling was quite sloppy. Wandered wherever the waves and wake from other boats wanted to send it.
It was 'ok' for just cruising around on smooth water.

What time and which ramp? We were at the Lovers Key ramp a few weeks ago and had a great time. While exploring Ft Myers beach, found a nice ramp owned by the city in a condo complex-it is the Cocohatchee River Park Marina. Talked to a guy who had a boat there in the marina and he said it NEVER is crowded.

I can attest beautiful area just stay inside the channel markers it can get shallow very fast and end up chewing grass and sand in your pump, ask me how I know [emoji39]Originally posted by Colt Luger View PostOne of the prettiest places-and of course, it's all weather dependent, is Cayo Costa. We launch at the public ramp up there by the Gasparilla Island Bridge. From there you can go South to Cayo Costa and Captiva OR North up to Stump pass and hang with the day drinkers. If it is too rough, then go South via the ICW and stop at the sand bar on the way. Heck, you can go ICW North up to stump pass. Beautiful place and lots of fun up there. Down here in Charlotte Harbor not as much to see and the harbor can turn into a washing machine if the wind is wrong. You can launch at Ponce Park or Laishley. If at Laishley and the tide is super low, be careful with the right most slot as you are looking at the water. The Right side, as you are looking at the water, has a hole and it will wreck your tire-so be careful. Left side of the ramp is fine.

I must agree! Get to Boca and go north. Crystal clear water and several areas to stop!
