watching too many videos of experienced s/r skis in use and figured his could do it also...not realizing you need a 10k gallon a second bilge pump and a snorkel if you are deliberately going into surf that rough will killer obstacles closeby.
luckily and I do mean luckily, nobody from the rescue crew injured.
can't wait to see the bill for the ski recover and costs of cleaning up the spilled fuel.
sure a shit it will be on crag is list within a month.

I do not provide help if you call my shop during business hours. I'm just too busy with my business.
Ive gone out in seas that bad out that same inlet on my xpdi and i jump a few waves but I can tell you its more just survival than wave jumping fun
theres too things just CANT do. dont go anywhere near the breakers and dont put yourself in a situation where you are at risk of falling off
I just like to ride up and down the waves for the adventure. jumping waves that big isnt even fun unless you enjoy falling 20ft out of the sky and smashing the next wave coming at you
guy didnt even have a good wave jumping ski it was a 3 seater looked like a 2015 rxt or wake maybe
