  • Michigan ski riders, unite!

    Hello all!

Hoping to get some groups together this summer anywhere in Michigan! Met a couple people briefly last summer while I was riding around Lake St. Clair, but getting a big group together would be a blast.

Hands up if anyone is ready for summer to hit!

Yep, I am in! Novi here, but ride Lake St Clair quite a bit, there are a few of us who go out often.

Right on guys! I just got out on Lake St. Clair for the pre-season shakedown the other day. Still icy cold water, but we're getting there!

We can use this thread to plan some ride days when summer really hits. Can't wait for it!

Would love to get in on a ride! Y’all ride on anything like what 447 has posted from the east side (presumably in Canadian waters...)?

The river delta's expansive shallows and countless reed lined channels make for an entertaining playground, on both sides of the border.

Sure do! There are all kinds of trails at the north end of Lake St. Clair that you can access from the North Channel, Fisher Bay, and Big Muskamoot. I'm sure I haven't been through all of them, but the ones I have ridden through are a blast. Some of the trails open up into larger areas with shorter reed trails in them. Super fun to make little racetracks in those areas!

Hopefully if you end up out this way, we can arrange a good group ride!
