Riding on Lake Tahoe with an older ski that has a new Tahoe legal engine.

Just got off the phone with Dennis from TRPA Watercraft Enforcment Team for Lake Tahoe. I have a 2001 Yamaha GP1200R with a 2008 Sea Doo RXPX engine. He told me that they do not restrict the ski it is the engine in the ski. So since I have an engine that is legal to be on the lake it is ok to take my ski on the lake. He said to have documentation that it is a compliant. Im going to have him send me a letter to keep with me on the ski.
