Hey everyone, I wanted to remind you to bring your extra monies to buy raffle tickets to help the DJSA support raffle. The price of the tickets are as follows
1 ticket for $1.00
12 tickets for $10.00
and
25 tickets for $20.00
There will be a raffle at every race, and after each raffle those tickets will be put into a bucket for your chance to win some prizes at the end of the year as well (even if you won previously)
Some of the really AWESOME prizes for the raffles at the races are... a pair of BOMBER sunglasses that were donated by Tommy Bonacci, THANK YOU TOMMY!! (and thank you Brenda and Art for getting those donated) and there will be 2-3 raffled off at every race.
Also Mar-Val foods has donated baked goodies, thanks to Jackie Harden.
We have had 2 raffles already and they were a huge success!!
and there will be other prizes at each race (they will change from race to race)
If you would like to donate and prizes to be raffled off, that would be AWESOME. Just go to the OUTLAW kitchen and let Hope, Stan or myself know.
We will be announcing throughout the races the people that have donated and with the live stream EVERYONE will know that you or your company donated.
We are working on some really cool things to be raffled off at the awards dinner at the end of the year as well like......photo books with some of the years race photo's in it (there will be some of the course racing as well as a few books of the Jr's) Octane Greg has also offered up a couple of his AWESOME race posters like what was at the awards dinner this year. And Rick has said he will do a couple racer posters as well.
The reason for this year long raffle is to help Jim out with some of the costs in putting on such a great race at a great price. For instance.......help with oil and fuel for the team orange ski's..........new medical equipment, and lots of help getting new BUOY's
That's is just to name a few.
SO DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR EXTRA CASH TO HELP DJSA OUT AND WIN SOME FANTASTIC PRIZES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!!
