Hey guys. Yes, I have done several seat covers and with my new gun and staples (Total cost $145. $100 for gun + $45 for staples) it comes out even better than it did before. It seems many of the new seat covers, JetTrim (Best seat cover IMO) anyway have the tabs like the stock skis to hold the seat cover down in the deep pockets. This means the old cover must come off which we were always told to leave it on. The last RXPX cover I did had the tabs so the old cover was taken off and he has no issues. The seat on my FZR had the stock cover removed as well and I just stand the seat up after I wash it and let the water drain. It drains out, but not to much much. Check this thread out, has some good info. http://www.greenhulk.net/showthread.php?t=8572
