I ride on tickfaw river and lake maurepas every weekend. trying to get a group together to ride to the prop stop. we have the lake to ride to nice shallow water to get off and swim. lets make it happen. if you would like to get togther and have a good weekend ride make a post.

Awesome! I try to ride every weekend but I'm so pissed because I missed the last two! I don't have any friends with ski's (the ones that do have stand-ups), so I usually ride with others guys with boats. However, my cousin backed out on me today because of the rain. What a puss! I'm so mad!

I'm down for whatever. If I go to the lake, I usually put in on the Amite at Carthage Bluff landing. It's about 8 miles from the tickfaw beach area.

Hey, another thing I've been thinking about is getting a group together to make a couple of rides:
1) Across Lake Maurepas, through the pass, then across to Mandeville to see the lighthouse. I calculated the mileage, and it will be close on one tank, but I think if we take it easy, it can be done.
2) Out to Cat or Ship island from Ms. It's less than 10 miles out there, so I don't think it would be that difficult as long as we had a few of us and maybe rope and a gps.

Mike ia have been wanting to make both of those rides. The one to ship island really interest me. None of my friends have skis so i would love to make that ride to mandeville also. Lets try to round up a few others and check these off the list.

sup, I ride almost every weekend but I think im a little bit far from where you guys ride. But if you ever want to meet up for a group ride I would be down. Just let me know.....theres actually a few of us from Lake Charles that ride on the weekends.

Earlier this year, I made it all the way from Fred's in Port Vincent up to I-12 near Denham. It took 2 tries but I made it. On the first try, I got stuck in mud and had to push that beast about 30 ft to deeper water. On the 2nd try, something got stuck in the pump and I had to pull it to clear it. I'd do it again, though, but I'll bring tools to pull the pump next time rather than having to use the factory tool kit.

Well you need to bring yourself over to tickfaw river. I promice that you could not find that problem if you were looking for it.... hope to see you out there. I think we should all get together and head to gulfport to make the trip to ship island. I was just looking at the website and it is 11 miles southeast of gulfport,ms...

Yes,we are going to have to get together and make a run to the propstop and up the tickfaw river,We have not been there this year yet,this weekends not good because we are going to panama city beach for a week.

Well I was going to heading to Destin tomorrow, but plans have changed. Who every would like to meet for a ride on the Tickfaw river. Let's make it happen. I will be there my buddy will probally bring his P.o.S boat. So come one Come all....
