I have been bringing my jetskis to both places for some time now. The best place to ride, in my opinion, is Pensacola. The best place to stay is at the Sabine Yacht Club on the beach. You can keep your skis there and they have the only real launch on the beach side.

Off topic, but where do you ride "at home"...?

Well I am just getting back on the water after sitting out a few years...

Normally ride the Amite, Tickfaw & Lakes, North pass, but like to try new areas all the time.

Likely we've passed each other on the water then... you should check up on the LA Connection thread. Sometimes we post up where/who regarding a local ride. Very informal stuff.

BTW, if you're looking for new areas - check out the link in my sig. That is what it's all about.

BTW, I'm pretty sure the OP is already back from this trip...

Yeah, it was a good trip. Thanks for all the recommendations. I like that area. All the no wake zones were a bit of a bummer, but otherwise, a nice place.
