We did that a couple of weeks ago...we also did Biloxi River to the diaquiri place, T'bouffa to D'Iberville, and Old Fort to the Shed/I-10.

        • Hey Guys. Let me ask you a question. I just bought an 08 GTX a few months back (my first PWC). Low hours (105) and seems to be very well maintained. Is this ski up to the challenge of a longer off shore ride like the Bahamas? Or is that just asking for trouble with an older ski? All the videos I see seem to be newer skis doing those runs. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum & congrats on the purchase. We have taken the ride over to Bimini three times so far, with very good results end result. I would like to think some of which is because of our core group of men & women, well thought out planning, doing maintenance to the skis, trailers & vehicles before & after a trip like this. Oh and a little luck on our side With that being said we have had a few older skis 2008 on up that have made the crossing. I recommend stuff like new battery, fresh/new trailer tires & bearings, oil change for the (ski & vehicle), double & triple check hose claims & the condition of them just to name a few things. I think if the skis is well maintain and keep up you will be fine. Oh and a extra landard for your Seadoo! Good luck

            • Probably going to make a run out to horn in the morning early before the wind and the crowds pick up.

              • Went out early sat. morning , i was on the water by 6:15 and made a run out to Horn island. I started at the western tip and ran the length of it on the Gulf side and then ran on the inside to the western tip of deer and then headed back to Gulfport lake. My new 2017 VXR already has 91 hours on it.
