Aside from that check Google earth to see what's around you. Look for marinas, boat ramps, etc.

Haven't ridden too much in Colorado except Grand lake and Grandby. Grandby is a cool lake some nice coves and rivers to explore. Be careful they turn shallow pretty quick with lots of rocks to suck up.
UNISHIPPERS is the source to ship motors, skis, etc. Call I can probably set you in the right direction.

How true, someday I'm going to do it there. Below is a picture I took from the Glen Canyon Dam a few years ago.

Hello I live in LOZ MO. , but my business is in CO. Not that many places to ride. There are some great PWC riders there .... in Loveland, Ft. Collins &^ Denver. They do however make the trip to KS. to race in Region 9 . Great bunch of ski friends they are always looking to expand their caravan when heading to races. Good Luck

Which part of Colorado did you relocate? I'm in the north and ride Boyd and Horsetooth in the Loveland and Fort Collins area, and then travel to Flaming Gorge for special occasions.

Boyd is the best lake in town IMO because we have our own jet ski ramp. I second trainerty on flaming gorge! We go once a year. Well worth the 6 hour drive from Denver. It's like lake powells not so little brother. Don't even bother with the hell hole known as chatfield. Worst ranger, worst inspectors, worst launching setup, worst beach, ecoli in the water, busiest body of water, tons of drunk idiots almost killing people, there isn't a single good thing about that place.

I went there last year and I'd love to go back. But we came from Texas so I'll need to carve out a week or more for the trip. I envy those who live close to it. I suppose I'm also relatively lucky to live close to a good couple of lakes, I can take off after work on a week day to ride for a few hours and only drive 50 miles round trip. I've looked in Colorado for good riding places but never found much that wouldnt be freezing.

I know this is an old thread but I will be moving to Colorado from Florida later this year. I am debating on bringing the GP1200R with me or trying to sell it in Florida. Anybody still there riding in Colorado?

I lived near Denver for 4 years...I wouldn't bother taking a ski there. I'd go with a ATV - tons of exploring/camping in the mountains to be done.
