  • Canyon Lake Meet up plans

There is a really nice beach (for Canyon) with a pavilion capable of hosting 100 people. I happen to own a party rental company and could keep tons of kids/wives occupied. Just wondering how many people would be willing to pitch in to have a huge meet up in the area. The cove its in its really nice, with no stumps and has all the room needed for a buoy course, and more. Only 2 problems. 1. I need to recoup enough to cancel most of my rentals for the weekend, 2. We would have to set a date a month in advance or more.

We would have, Food, Bounce house, inflatable waterslide, snow cones, Buoys, and music.

I am insanely busy during weekends and rely on that money to survive, but i can block out dates to have a huge event, as long as i could cover some of what i make. The beach is not sand and anchors are highly recommended, but it is small gravel and most SMC hulls that dont mind some scratches can be beached. no big rocks. (ruin your shit at your own risk, i pull my gp1800 up, no fucks given)
Alcohol will be allowed, because fuck sober parties, but drunk people will be escorted out. All lake regulations will take place, and they might bitch at us for buoy racing, but i dont see any laws against it.

we could plan a date that could be a yearly event. If you guys have ideas for the plan, please post them. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Red is the area, the road lines are bs, you cannot launch here. but launch is right down the road and can be worked out, or trucks/cars left at ramp.
blue is a great place for buoys, which i have done before.

Better check with Texas Parks and Wild Life Department, and/or other law enforcement/county officials on lake activities for any permits or such. Hate to see you get jammed up after the fact.

I'm guessing this didn't go down ? Sounds like a pretty good idea.

It didnt, but we still hit Canyon Lake pretty often.
Another Edit from this past weekend. Still need to work on drone flight. Hoping to get some more action cam footage to add to it.
