I just got off the phone with a very nice guy named Denny at the Clarion Motel (old Holiday Inn). I gave him the dates for Mudbug in June and he said for anyone wanting to book a room at the Clarion for the June MB, to call and ask for him, and mention the "Mudbug Block" and he will hook you up with a rate of 79.99 per night.

I just booked my room at the LaQuinta. $70 per night (for an ADA room) that I might be able to get them to switch to a regular room for the same price. Keeps me away from all the riff raff!

Thanks, Kevin! You are no longer a half a block away. Luckily, the La Quinta did not have the no refund policy that Comfort Inn (Choice Hotels) has. That was the only thing I didn't like, but it's 99.9999999% that I'm going.
