Same thing most likely. Launch at Amelia in the morning ride the sugarcane side of lake. Lunchtime load up, get gas,lunch and head to Russo ramp to ride surrounding areas of flat lake. Great riding on that side.

Would absolutely love to join y'all but I've got a ton of work at the house this weekend. Obviously, I'd neglected it for a full-blown 'bug but since moving back home, I still have a lot of unfinished business.
Something to consider - there's a lot more on the far side of the levee than around Flat Lake and I'd love to show y'all. Hmmm, maybe Sunday? I don't know - and I guess most of you are leaving town then... If you have the ability, you'll prob. want to download the Grand Lake Loop and/or By. Sorrel Loop.
Of course, if you want a real trip, the Mega Marsh Loop is 100 miles but you'd really have to study the maps to find your way around the dam in By. Chene - I'm certain it's closed... but there are ways around, just gotta do your homework. Or follow me...

Very nice, David - thanks for sharing. Hmmm, Bear By, I think - maybe By. Jesse. I don't rem. all the names as well as I used to... When I was a young man, it was taboo to cross the Flat Lake if you didn't know exactly where the RR track were... but I seem to remember them being on the far side of the lake from the ICW. Finally at Gros. Had to idle all the way in from from the lake. Wanda and Leroy are good and are open.
