Excellent. Booked a room. Will be my first Mudbug. Was out of PWC's for about 12 years, but bought a new FX in August and looking forward to doing some trips.

From Nashville area, so if anyone from this area is going let me know, maybe we can convoy down (or go riding locally).

I obviously don't know much myself, but from what I can tell, the previous threads from last year(s) is probably your best bet to gain info. Maybe also look at some of the youtube video's to give you an idea. I don't think there is a organized site per se.

As I understand it, it's really an "un" organized event which is really just a set of dates where the group gets together and rides. I am expecting to kind of meet up with those attending at the hotels and figure it out as I go.

This website is the best place to get all the information for the MudBug rides. We have them every year on the second weekend of April, second weekend of June, and second weekend of October. There is no set plan as to where we will ride. We all meet at Doiron's Landing (3185 LA-70, Morgan City, LA 70380) between 9-10 am each day to figure out a plan as to where we will ride. You'll quickly learn that the rides we do are the best in the country and is worth the trip. You simply can't beat the thousands of miles of trails in Louisiana's swamps.

MudBug started over 15 years ago as a place for the fastest skis in the nation to battle it out. If there is enough interest, I'll be more than happy to sit out there with a radar gun on Saturday. I might even have some GreenHulk shirts/hats/stickers to hand out.

Spring MudBug will have to be April 14-16. Easter weekend falls on the second weekend of April of this year and that'll prevent people from coming to the ride. There is also way too much local boat traffic on Easter weekend so the following weekend will be the better option.

The Holiday Inn Express is nice and the Clarion is ok but a little less $. Stayed at both last year,Holiday Inn will get my business tho

The Holiday Inn Express is probably the nicest hotel around here. We don’t have any E85. The best we have is 93 octane.
