Regarding the picture of the three women, the third woman is Michele, the fellow standing behind the three women is a "freelance?" reporter out of Valdosta, Georgia who drove to Morgan City with his son to get a feel for the atmosphere of "the bug". He had been trying to get several of the watercraft mags interested in a story about the Mudbug Nationals.
