    Yeah, Wade - was sorry to hear of your "man overboard". Personally, I'd of opted for the hot-pink model if it would have came that way, as opposed to "any color water you're in" model... BTW, I know it skipped some data, but was curious if it was still under warranty?

      It had water in the plug in ports (behind the rubber caps) from the 40mph spill and was showing bars of color (like a TV station going off the air back in the day) and what looked like a home boot/operating system screen with text and system statuses. Then later it was saying "external power lost, keep on using battery power" over and over every few seconds...like it was thinking it was plugged in.

      I blew out the ports and left it sitting in rice with them open (like they say do for a dipped cell phone). Also had to clean the mini USB port terminals with a tiny screwdriver to remove corrosion before the computer would recognize it as a device. Now, it seems to be working fine. Not sure on the warranty...I'll dig out the paperwork but I'm betting it's up.
